Description

Digital Watchdog DW-BJNAS10T Network Attached Storage

Overview

The DW-BJNAS10T is a 10TB network-attached storage appliance purpose-built for Digital Watchdog surveillance deployments. Desktop form factor (10.2" × 11" × 2.1") integrates into equipment racks or cabinet spaces where you need centralized storage without a full NVR rebuild. The unit runs Linux on a dual-core ARM processor with 512MB RAM and connects via single Gigabit Ethernet port — adequate for multi-camera recording when your existing DVR or recorder needs offsite or backup capacity expansion.

Compatibility

Designed for Digital Watchdog surveillance ecosystems. Supports network integration via standard SMB protocol (file sharing), NTP for time synchronization, and HTTP/SMTP for status reporting. Works within environments already running Digital Watchdog recorders or third-party ONVIF-compatible systems. Verify with your existing DVR/NVR platform before deployment — not all recorder firmware versions handle network storage the same way.

Installation Notes

Operates on 12VDC input (external power supply required). Single Gigabit Ethernet connection means throughput is limited to wired network speed — if recording multiple high-bitrate streams, ensure your network switch and cabling support uncompressed or lightly-compressed video formats. Desktop mounting allows placement on equipment shelves or within 19-inch racks using third-party mounting brackets. No PoE option — dedicated 12V power supply must be run separately. Supports up to 20TB maximum capacity if you upgrade storage later.
