Compatibility

This scanner kit is compatible with Zebra mobile computers including the VC8 Series, TC501, TC53/TC58, TC53e/TC58e, TC701, TC73/TC78, ET40/ET45, ET40-HC, ET60/ET65, and ET60W/ET65W. It also pairs with Zebra mobile printers such as the ZQ5 Series and ZQ6 Series. The DS2278-SR scanner itself is a direct replacement for the DS2208 and is also compatible with the SP2002, DS9308, DS5502, DS9908/DS9908R, and Zebra Flex Series devices.

Installation Notes

The kit includes a MICRO USB cable (part number 25-MCXUSB-01R) for power and data transfer. Ensure the host device has a USB Type-A port for connection. The scanner is designed for immediate out-of-box use with minimal configuration required for standard barcode types.
