DMP CM-30E Push to Exit Button
Overview
The DMP CM-30E is a 12/24 VDC illuminated push-to-exit button designed for integration with access control door-window-zone inputs. The 2-inch button mounts on a 4.5-by-2.75-inch stainless steel single-gang faceplate — a standard exit control point for DMP XT and XR Series panels in banks, commercial facilities, and multi-tenant enterprises. SPDT (single-pole double-throw) contacts let you wire it as a normally-open or normally-closed circuit depending on your panel configuration and fail-safe requirements.
Compatibility
The CM-30E is designed for use with DMP XT Series and XR Series access control panels only. It connects to door-window-zone inputs on these panels via standard 2-wire or 4-wire access control wiring. Verify your panel supports illuminated SPDT button inputs before specifying — older DMP models may require different exit button modules.
Installation Notes
Mount the stainless steel faceplate in a single-gang electrical box using standard box screws. Route the button cable to the nearest XT or XR Series panel zone input. The LED illumination draws minimal current and is powered by the panel's 24 VDC supply (or 12 VDC if your panel provides that voltage). Confirm your panel's available zone-input capacity before wiring multiple exits — each button consumes one input circuit. Button should be positioned at 48 inches above finished floor per ADA guidelines for accessibility. No additional power supply or relay module is required.
