Overview

The Panduit DNF18-250M-C is a male tab disconnect terminal designed for secure wire termination in applications requiring resistance to vibration. It features a nickel-plated copper body with a red nylon barrel insulation housing, providing a robust connection point for 22-18 AWG wire. Compatibility

This male tab disconnect is engineered to mate with all standard 0.250 x 0.032 inch female disconnects. It is compatible with Panduit installation tools such as the CT-1550, CT-1551, CT-2300/ST (CD-550), CT-2500/L (CT-2550CH), and UP14ZLW (CD-550), ensuring proper crimp integrity when the correct tool is employed. The unit is rated for up to 600V, making it suitable for a wide range of power and signal distribution circuits.

Installation Notes

The DNF18-250M-C features a metal insulation grip sleeve that crimps onto the wire insulation, providing protection against mechanical stress and vibration at the crimp joint. Internal barrel serrations ensure excellent wire contact and maximum tensile strength after crimping. The disconnect is rated to 221°F (105°C) and meets UL 94V-2/HB flammability standards.
