Nicks, cuts, and drill points that break the powder coat surface are inevitable during field installation — leaving bare metal exposed invites oxidation and creates an unprofessional appearance in customer-facing or inspected spaces. The DVWE-P lets installers address those imperfections on the spot without pulling panels or sourcing touch-up spray cans. TAA-compliant, making it a straightforward procurement item on federal and government-contract jobs where country-of-origin compliance is required for every line item.

Compatibility

Matched specifically to the Middle Atlantic DS4000-series steel raceway and cord cover system — the Fog White color corresponds to the standard DS4000 finish. Use this pen only on DS4000 steel components finished in Fog White; other Middle Atlantic raceway families or color variants require their own matched touch-up pen. Verify the installed raceway color before ordering — Middle Atlantic offers additional finish options, and a color mismatch will be visible under inspection lighting.

Installation Notes

Apply to clean, dry, grease-free metal surfaces. Standard touch-up pen technique applies: shake well, blot on a test surface before touching the workpiece, and build up thin coats on deeper gouges rather than flooding the area. Best results on fresh cuts made during the same installation visit before surface oxidation begins. Not intended as a full refinishing solution for large damaged sections — for significant surface damage, replacement of the affected raceway section is the correct approach.
