Overview
The Cradlepoint 170665-000 is a 152mm power adapter cable that converts a 4-pin Molex DIN input (center pin positive) to a barrel connector output. Solves the connector-mismatch problem when field-replacing power harnesses on Cradlepoint routers or when integrating legacy power supplies into newer device installations. Cable-only construction — no transformer or voltage regulation built in, so output voltage is determined by the input power supply voltage.
Compatibility
Compatible with Cradlepoint IBR1700, IBR200, IBR900 (end-of-life), IBR600C (end-of-life), R1900 Series, R980, R920 Series, E300, and R500-PLTE (end-of-life). Use this adapter when your Cradlepoint device expects a 4-pin DIN connector but your available power supply or harness uses a barrel jack termination, or vice versa.
Installation Notes
152mm cable length (approximately 6 inches) is suitable for short-run panel or desk-mount installations. Verify your power supply voltage before connecting — the adapter itself does not regulate or transform voltage, only converts the connector type. Ensure the 4-pin DIN side is mated fully and the center pin aligns with the positive (center pin positive) specification; reverse polarity will damage the connected device. Not TAA-compliant.
