Description

Panduit PUR6AV04RD-G Cat6A Riser Cable Red

Overview

The Panduit PUR6AV04RD-G is a 1000ft spool of Category 6A U/UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) bulk copper cable, specifically designed for riser installations. This red, 23 AWG solid bare copper cable supports up to 500 MHz bandwidth, making it suitable for high-speed data applications like 10GBASE-T Ethernet in commercial and enterprise environments. Its CMR rating ensures compliance for vertical pathway installations.

Compatibility

This Panduit Pan-Net® cable is engineered to meet TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO/IEC 11801 standards. It is fully compatible with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 (PoE++) for up to 100W power delivery and supports applications including 10GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet. It is designed for use with standard RJ45 connectors and patch panels supporting Cat6A performance.

Installation Notes

The cable features a PVC jacket with a CMR (Riser) flammability rating, suitable for use in vertical shafts and between floors as permitted by code. It is constructed with 23 AWG solid conductors, requiring termination with appropriate tools for solid core cable. The 1000ft Reelex pull box packaging facilitates smooth, tangle-free deployment from the box.
