Overview
The Panduit UTPSPL5MGRY is a 5-meter, green Cat 6 UTP patch cord designed for high-density network environments. Constructed with 24 AWG stranded LSZH cable, it offers reliable data transmission for Ethernet, ATM, and VoIP applications. The tangle-free latch on the modular plug simplifies moves, adds, and changes, while the slender strain relief boot ensures easy access in tight spaces. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes facilitate quick port mapping.
Compatibility
This patch cord supports a wide range of networking standards, including Ethernet 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 10GBASE-T over limited distances. It is also compatible with ATM (155 Mb/s, 622 Mb/s, 1.2 Gb/s) and Token Ring (4/16 Mbps). Wired to be compatible with both T568A and T568B schemes, it meets or exceeds ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E standards.
Installation Notes
The cable construction is U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair). It is designed to support IEEE 802.3af/802.3at and 802.3bt types 3 and 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE++) applications, drawing power directly from compatible network switches without requiring a separate power supply. The patented tangle-free latch prevents snags during installation and disconnection.
