The Panduit CLT125F-L4 delivers 50 feet of 1.303" split-wall corrugated loom tubing engineered to protect cable bundles from crush impact and abrasion in indoor wire-routing applications. The continuous slit along the tube wall lets you snap wires into place over pre-assembled harnesses or retrofit existing runs without disconnecting terminations, cutting retrofit time on patch panels, server racks, and low-voltage control enclosures. Polyethylene construction with UL 94 HB flammability rating handles temperatures to 122°F, and the yellow jacket supports color-coded circuit identification in multi-system installations. Secure with standard cable ties through the corrugated ribs.
The corrugated profile distributes point loads across the tube's rib structure, protecting enclosed cables from equipment impacts, foot traffic, and sharp enclosure edges. Polyethylene's 122°F maximum continuous operating temperature suits standard indoor environments—HVAC equipment rooms, IT closets, above suspended ceilings, and behind access-floor tiles—but stays below the threshold for boiler rooms or outdoor/sunlit installations. The 1.303" bore fits security/AV cable bundles mixing Cat6A, coax, and 18/2 power: a typical 12-camera PoE run (12× Cat6A + 1× patch cable) measures roughly 1.1" OD and slides into this tubing with room for tie-down compression. The slit runs the full 50 feet, so you can load cables at any point along the tube rather than threading from an end—critical when retrofitting a live rack where you can't disconnect uplinks to pull tubing over connectors.
Installers use split loom to bridge the gap between structured conduit and free-hanging cable: run rigid EMT or flex conduit to the equipment zone, then transition to corrugated tubing for the final drop to patch panels, cameras, or power supplies. The visible slit and corrugations make it easy to route through cable trays without snagging on J-hooks or tie-mount studs. Yellow is the standard choice for low-voltage data/signal circuits in multi-trade installations—differentiating from orange (fiber), black (power), or gray (telecom)—and simplifies troubleshooting when a bundle serves multiple VLANs or device types. The 50-foot coil covers a typical row of server racks (42U × 4 racks ≈ 30–40 feet horizontal + vertical drops) with one continuous piece, eliminating the coupling bulk and labor of joining shorter sections. Secure the tubing every 3–4 feet with cable ties looped through the corrugation valleys; Panduit's Pan-Ty® or releasable ties work directly with the rib spacing.
UL 94 HB flammability rating qualifies the tubing for general indoor use under NEC Article 800 (communications circuits) and Article 725 (Class 2/3 control circuits), though plenum or riser-rated spaces require higher-rated products. RoHS compliance clears federal and state material-restriction mandates for lead, mercury, and hazardous plastics. The CLT125F-L4 ships as a single 50-foot coil, ready to cut to length on-site with standard cable shears or a utility knife—no special tooling for field-fabricated wire bundles.
