The UMV4S is a 2-wire, 4-button video surface kit designed for integration into Comelit video intercom platforms. This wall-mount unit supports button-based call routing in residential and light commercial entry control applications. The compact form factor and PoE power delivery eliminate the need for dedicated power runs at the entry point—a significant installation advantage when retrofitting existing buildings or deploying across multiple entry gates.
Compatibility
The UMV4S integrates with Comelit video intercom systems supporting 2-wire analog or digital video transmission. Verify compatibility with your specific Comelit master station or hub before deployment. Installation requires PoE network infrastructure capable of delivering power to the surface kit location. Confirm your network switch supports the required power delivery class for the UMV4S.
Installation Notes
Mount the UMV4S to a flat vertical surface (wall, pilaster, or entry frame) using the supplied fasteners. Ensure the mounting location has clear line of sight to the intercom call button zone and adequate lighting for daytime visitor identification. Run a single Ethernet run from your PoE switch or injector to the UMV4S—no separate power supply or 24V transformer required. Strain-relieve the cable at entry to prevent tugging on the connector during maintenance.
