Installation Notes

Mount the UMV4S to a flat vertical surface (wall, pilaster, or entry frame) using the supplied fasteners. Ensure the mounting location has clear line of sight to the intercom call button zone and adequate lighting for daytime visitor identification. Run a single Ethernet run from your PoE switch or injector to the UMV4S—no separate power supply or 24V transformer required. Strain-relieve the cable at entry to prevent tugging on the connector during maintenance.
