Overview
The Comelit UBVTF is a black flush-mount touch panel designed for discreet, wall-integrated installation in residential and commercial video intercom deployments. This accessory kit solves the aesthetic and space constraints of traditional surface-mount fixtures by recessing directly into standard wall cavities — valuable when you need the system visible but not dominant. The UBVTF integrates with PoE+ powered Comelit systems, eliminating separate power runs and simplifying retrofit or new-construction wiring.
Compatibility
The UBVTF works with Comelit video intercom and access control systems that support PoE+ (802.3at) power delivery. Verify your Comelit control unit and any associated door stations or keypads are PoE+-capable before ordering. The flush-mount form factor fits standard electrical wall boxes (both new construction rough-ins and retrofit cavity installations), but box depth and available space must accommodate the panel's back-mounted connector terminals.
Installation Notes
Flush-mount installation requires routing PoE+ cabling to the wall cavity and securing the panel into the electrical box — no additional power supply needed. Ensure wall framing can support the mounting bracket and verify the destination wall is non-load-bearing or that you follow local electrical codes for in-wall cabling. Test PoE+ availability at the run destination before cutting into drywall; undersized or heavily loaded PoE switches may not deliver the required 13W+ to the panel.
