Overview
The Comelit 4893M is a wall-mounted external entry unit with 1-4 programmable mechanical buttons designed for Quadra series video intercom installations. Die-cast aluminum faceplate with a wide-angle color camera and integrated LED lighting for nighttime visibility. This module solves the installation challenge of adding flexible call points to residential or light-commercial entry systems without requiring multiple dedicated devices — one housing, configurable button count per deployment need.
Compatibility
Works with the Comelit Quadra series video intercom platform. The 4893M integrates into standard wall-mounted electrical boxes and connects via the Quadra system bus line — no separate 24V power wiring required. Button programming supports call routing, door release activation, audio control, and system status indication (call sent, lock release, audio active, system busy). Compatible with ONVIF-capable management platforms for broader system integration.

Operates on PoE power delivery from the Quadra system bus, eliminating dedicated external power supply installation. External dimensions: 95 mm (width) × 195 mm (height) × 28 mm (depth). Wall-mounted form factor fits standard electrical enclosures.
