Comelit 1195/U 24VAC Transformer Power Supply
Overview
The Comelit 1195/U is a 115VAC-to-24VAC transformer (72VA maximum output) designed to power Simplebus door entry and intercom systems. It accepts 115VAC input and delivers regulated 24VAC, with integrated fuse protection — meaning if your system draws too much current, the internal fuse trips before wiring overheats. This is the standard power backbone for small-to-medium intercom installations where you need a single, wall-mounted voltage converter feeding multiple door entry stations or call boxes.
Compatibility
The 1195/U supports all Simplebus 2 audio/video systems, Simplebus 2 audio systems, Simplebus 1 audio systems, and Vip intercom systems from Comelit. If your installation includes Simplebus door entry hardware, this transformer is the compatible power source. Verify your system manual to confirm 24VAC voltage requirement — this unit does not support systems requiring 12VAC or other voltages.
Installation Notes
Wall-mounted installation only (no ceiling or rail options beyond DIN mounting as a 5-module unit). Dimensions: 3.52 inches wide × 3.25 inches tall × 3.23 inches deep. Operating temperature range 32°F to 104°F — suitable for indoor equipment rooms and control cabinets but not outdoor or extreme-temperature environments. Connect 115VAC primary via terminal block to your building AC distribution. Secondary 24VAC output is also terminal-block connected to your Simplebus main board or distribution panel. The internal fuse cannot be user-replaced; if blown, the entire unit requires replacement.
