The International Connectors and Cable ICRESDP28K is a 28-inch plastic enclosure designed to consolidate network, voice, and video cabling infrastructure within a single, organized unit. Its design simplifies the termination and distribution of multiple cable types, reducing clutter and improving system reliability. The ICRESDP28K model includes pre-configured snap-on modules for immediate deployment.

Compatibility

This media center is designed to house standard networking and telecommunications components. It includes 8 ports for CAT 6 data, 8 ports for voice, and 6 ports for video (e.g., coax or composite). The snap-on module design allows for easy integration with various patch panels, keystone jacks, and video distribution modules. It is compatible with standard 110-style punch-down blocks for voice and data, and standard BNC connectors for video distribution. The enclosure itself is designed for wall mounting and accommodates standard-sized network switches or patch panels up to 12 inches deep.

Installation Notes

Mount the enclosure securely to a wall stud or suitable backing using appropriate fasteners (not included). Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation and cable access. Terminate CAT 6 and voice cables using a 110-style punch-down tool. Video ports typically use BNC connectors. The snap-on modules attach directly to the internal mounting rails within the enclosure. Allow sufficient slack for all cable runs to prevent strain on terminations.
