Code Blue 70001 LS1000-SC Enclosure Phone
Overview
The Code Blue 70001 is a rugged PoE-powered VoIP speakerphone housed in a NEMA 4 vandal-resistant enclosure. This unit solves the installation problem of deploying emergency communication or intercom stations in demanding environments—parking structures, loading docks, perimeter checkpoints—where standard wall phones fail. Full-duplex communication, 12V DC or PoE (802.3af) power, and piezoelectric buttons that won't stick or jam keep the system running through weather and abuse. ADA Braille bezels and compliance with ADA specifications ensure accessibility requirements are met without retrofit.
Compatibility
The 70001 integrates with Code Blue's LS1000 VoIP speakerphone infrastructure. It operates on standard PoE (802.3af) delivered over any compliant switch or injector, or can draw 12V DC from a dedicated power supply if PoE is unavailable. Three Ethernet ports enable daisy-chaining or local network integration into existing IP-based communication systems. Three contact closure inputs and three contact closure outputs support triggering external relays (door strikes, strobe lights, alert systems) and responding to zone switches or push-to-talk stations.
Installation Notes
Operating temperature range of −40°C to 70°C (−40°F to 158°F) qualifies this unit for outdoor or unheated indoor deployments. Dimensions: 8.5" wide × 11.75" tall × 2.5" deep—compact enough to recess into a 4×4 box or mount surface. Proprietary vandal-resistant screws prevent tampering. Line-level audio output (8 ohm impedance) drives local speakers or feeds external amplification. Conformal-coated PCB resists corrosion in salt spray or humid environments. 4GB RAM supports multi-phone or multi-line configurations within the LS1000 family. Weight of 6 lbs (2.72 kg) requires standard structural mounting—no special brackets needed.
