Description

Code Blue 40482 PAS WM-180 IP Controller Module

Overview

The Code Blue 40482 is the IP controller component for the PAS WM-180 wall-mount paging assembly. It handles the network and audio-control function inside the assembly, converting the WM-180 into a PoE-networked endpoint that can be managed and monitored over IP rather than wired as a standalone analog paging station. This part fits deployments where an outdoor paging or emergency call point needs to sit on the same network as access control and video systems — parking structures, campus pathways, and perimeter call stations where pulling separate power runs isn't practical.

Compatibility

Built specifically for the Code Blue WM-180 assembly series — this is a Part/Accessory component within that product family, not a standalone paging unit. Confirm your WM-180 assembly configuration accepts the IP controller variant before ordering, since the WM-180 line supports multiple control module options.

Installation Notes

Powered over PoE, so a single Cat5e/Cat6 run to a PoE switch or injector handles both data and power — no separate low-voltage power supply to wire into the enclosure. The controller carries an IP56 rating, meaning it's built for outdoor exposure to wind-driven rain and dust ingress; it's not submersible, so mount it inside the WM-180's weather-resistant housing rather than in a fully exposed, standing-water location. The assembly is built to NEMA 4 as well, reinforcing that this is intended for outdoor enclosure use, not an indoor-only component. It carries UL 62368-1 compliance for the audio/electronic equipment safety standard. Backed by a 1-year warranty.
