Description

ACTi CTI-FOBIO-NEXT-V1 BLE Clicker FOB 6-Pack

Overview

The ACTi CTI-FOBIO-NEXT-V1 is a six-unit package of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) clicker FOBs designed to extend wireless credential control for the ACTi Next HUB access control system. Each FOB provides a portable, battery-powered credential input method — useful in environments where wired keypad or card-reader installations are impractical or where temporary credential issuance to contractors, delivery personnel, or mobile staff is required. The BLE link eliminates the need for additional wiring to each credential point; instead, FOBs communicate directly with the Next HUB hub unit over a secure, range-limited wireless channel.

Compatibility

This FOB set works exclusively with the ACTi Next HUB access control platform. Verify your Next HUB firmware version supports BLE FOB pairing before deployment. The FOBs are not compatible with standalone ACTi cameras, NVRs, or other third-party access control systems. If you are integrating Next HUB into a multi-vendor access control environment, confirm interoperability with your system integrator before purchase.

Installation Notes

Each FOB operates on a standard coin-cell battery; confirm battery type and expected service life from the product documentation before deployment. Pairing each FOB to the Next HUB requires access to the HUB's credential management interface — plan to perform pairing during system setup or during a scheduled credential management window. BLE range is typically 30–50 feet in open space; walls, metal structures, and dense RF environments reduce effective range. Test FOB range in your intended deployment area before relying on wireless credential control for critical door access. Store unused FOBs in a cool, dry location to preserve battery charge.
