The Citizen CL-S703III-EPUL-C is a 300dpi desktop/tabletop thermal printer built into the CL-S700 Type III platform. It combines direct thermal and thermal-transfer printing modes with three connectivity options—USB, Ethernet, and WiFi (ES04 module)—making it suitable for distributed warehouse and retail environments where network flexibility matters. The included long-range dongle (OPT-806) extends wireless range for installations spanning multiple zones or outdoor staging areas. The standard cutter handles label separation automatically, reducing manual handling in high-volume operations.
The CL-S703III-EPUL-C integrates with any WMS, label-design, or inventory system that supports raw thermal printer communication via USB, TCP/IP (Ethernet), or 802.11 WiFi. It is compatible with standard label rolls and media types supported by the CL-S700 series thermal printer ecosystem. No proprietary drivers or licensing required beyond standard Windows/macOS print-queue configuration. Third-party thermal-label software (LabelShop, BarTender, NiceLabel, Zebra Designer equivalents) will recognize it as a standard thermal device.
Mounting: Place on a stable, level work surface or install in a wall-mount bracket (sold separately) if space is constrained. Power: Standard 110–240V AC input via included power adapter. Network: For Ethernet installations, run Cat5e or better to your LAN; DHCP assignment is default. For WiFi, the ES04 module requires 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n; the OPT-806 long-range dongle should be positioned 3–6 feet away from the printer for optimal signal penetration. Thermal media: DT (direct thermal) labels; TT (thermal-transfer) mode requires compatible ribbon stock. Store media in cool, dry conditions to prevent image fade on DT stock.
