Overview

The ARK255SCNNS02 is a 5-slot Ethernet cradle designed to charge and sync CipherLab RK25 and RK26 series mobile computers simultaneously. IP65 rating means dust and moisture won't damage the electronics during use in warehouses, distribution centers, and retail environments where humidity and debris are routine. Ethernet connectivity enables device provisioning, software updates, and fleet management from a central station — no need to shuffle devices between a desk and the field one at a time.

Compatibility

Works exclusively with CipherLab RK25 and RK26 rugged mobile computers. Supports all memory and OS configurations: Android 7.0 with GMS (upgradeable to Android 9.0), Android 9.0 with GMS (upgradeable to Android 11.0), and Android 11.0 with GMS. Compatible with 2GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB, and all intermediate RAM/storage variants. The cradle is agnostic to optional RFID, NFC, or camera modules — they don't interfere with charging or docking.

Installation Notes

Compact footprint (168 × 73.8 × 26 mm, 292 g) fits standard desk and counter configurations in high-traffic areas. Requires Ethernet port with PoE or separate AC adapter (power specifications from the host system). IP65 means it tolerates splashing and dust, but avoid direct water spray or submersion. Position in a climate-controlled space to avoid condensation on the dock contacts during thermal cycling — common in cross-dock and staging areas with temperature swings.
