Overview

The i-PRO WSEC10 is a ceiling-mounted speaker designed for integration into IP intercom and audio distribution systems. It addresses environments requiring distributed audio coverage — retail floors, office lobbies, warehouses, transit facilities — where wall-mounted or localized speakers create dead zones or uneven sound pressure. Mount it flush in standard drop ceilings or surface-mount on hard ceilings; the WSEC10 handles both with minimal structural work.

Compatibility

The WSEC10 integrates with i-PRO IP intercom controllers and audio servers that support line-level or speaker-level audio output. Confirm your audio system's output impedance and voltage rating against the speaker's input specifications before installation. Works with analog audio circuits or IP-based intercom systems using PoE-powered audio bridges.

Installation Notes

Verify ceiling weight load capacity before mounting — use appropriate anchors for drywall, plasterboard, or structural framing. Audio wiring must be run through conduit or in-ceiling pathways separate from power and data cables to minimize electrical noise interference. Keep the speaker at least 300mm (12 inches) from direct duct outlets or HVAC vents to avoid acoustic distortion and airflow noise pickup.
