Description

Panduit UTP6AX9YL Category 6A 10 Gb/s UTP PC W/ EA

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX9YL is a 9-foot Category 6A UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gb/s. Constructed with 24 AWG solid conductors and high-performance modular plugs, this yellow cord features solid foil tape to minimize alien crosstalk, ensuring reliable performance for demanding network applications. The tangle-free latch simplifies connections and disconnections, streamlining network infrastructure management.

Compatibility

This patch cord meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, guaranteeing compatibility with equipment requiring 10GBASE-T Ethernet performance. It supports IEEE 802.3af/802.3at and 802.3bt types 3 and 4 PoE applications, making it suitable for powering network devices like IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones without requiring separate power cabling. The cord is wired for compatibility with both T568A and T568B schemes, ensuring broad interoperability with existing network installations.

Installation Notes

The cable construction is U/UTP (Unshielded/Unshielded Twisted Pair) with a CM flammability rating, suitable for in-wall or general-purpose use. The solid foil tape construction is key to limiting alien crosstalk, a critical factor for maintaining 10 Gb/s performance in high-density environments. The tangle-free latch design prevents snagging during installation and maintenance, facilitating quicker moves, adds, and changes within data centers or structured cabling systems.
