Description

Panduit UTP6AX9MOR Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX9MOR is a 9-meter (29.5 ft) Category 6A unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) patch cord. Constructed with 24 AWG solid conductors and CM-rated jacket, this orange cord is designed to support 10 Gb/s Ethernet transmission and limit alien crosstalk. Its tangle-free latch streamlines moves, adds, and changes in structured cabling deployments, while integrated RapidID barcodes simplify port mapping with compatible software.

Compatibility

This Cat 6A patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, ensuring compatibility with high-speed networking equipment. It is rated for 2500 cycles with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) Power over Ethernet standards, making it suitable for powering high-demand devices like Wi-Fi 6 access points and advanced IP cameras that draw significant power. The RJ45 modular plugs are standard for most Ethernet network interfaces.

Installation Notes

The cable jacket has a CM flammability rating, suitable for use in risers and general-purpose horizontal applications. The solid conductor construction provides superior performance for fixed installations but is less flexible than stranded conductors. The integrated tangle-free latch on the RJ45 connector ensures a secure connection and simplifies disconnection, preventing damage during installation or maintenance.
