Description

Panduit UTP6AX6GR Category 6A 10 Gb/s UTP PC W/ EA

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX6GR is a 6-foot Category 6A UTP patch cord, finished in green, designed to support 10GBASE-T Ethernet and demanding data center applications. Its solid construction and specific design elements address alien crosstalk, ensuring reliable high-speed data transmission critical for server virtualization, backbone aggregation, and high-performance computing environments. The integrated RapidID barcode simplifies port mapping and asset management, streamlining network infrastructure deployment and maintenance.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, ensuring compatibility with all network equipment requiring Category 6A performance up to 500 MHz. It supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) PoE applications, making it suitable for powering devices like IP cameras, wireless access points, and IoT sensors without requiring separate power infrastructure. It is wired to T568A and T568B schemes for broad network integration.

Installation Notes

Constructed with 24 AWG solid conductors and a CM flammability rating, this cable is suitable for in-wall and riser applications. The solid foil tape construction helps limit alien crosstalk, a key factor for maintaining signal integrity at 10 Gb/s. The tangle-free latch on the modular plugs ensures a secure connection while allowing for easy release, reducing installation time and potential damage during moves, adds, or changes.
