Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX5BL is a 5-foot Cat 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed network deployments requiring 10 Gb/s transmission. Its solid copper construction and advanced shielding limit alien crosstalk, ensuring signal integrity in demanding environments like data centers and enterprise networks. The tangle-free snagless latch design streamlines installation and maintenance by preventing cable snags and simplifying port changes. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes facilitate quick and accurate network mapping with compatible software.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, supporting frequencies up to 500 MHz. It is compatible with all T568A and T568B wiring schemes and supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet. The UTP6AX5BL is also certified to support IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 & Type 4) PoE applications, delivering up to 100W of power over the cable without performance degradation.

Installation Notes

Constructed with 24 AWG solid copper conductors, this CM-rated cable is suitable for in-wall and riser applications. The cable diameter is 0.250 inches (6.4 mm). The tangle-free latch mechanism provides a secure connection while allowing for easy removal and re-installation, reducing the risk of damage during moves, adds, or changes.
