Description

Panduit UTP6AX3MBL Category 6A 10 Gb/s UTP PC W/ EA

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX3MBL is a 3-meter (9.8 ft) Category 6A unshielded twisted pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gb/s. Constructed with 24 AWG solid conductors and a CM-rated jacket, this black cord is suitable for data center applications including I/O consolidation, server virtualization, and backbone aggregation. Its solid foil tape construction limits alien crosstalk, ensuring signal integrity for demanding network environments. The integrated tangle-free latch streamlines moves, adds, and changes by preventing snags and ensuring a secure, yet easy, release.

Compatibility

This patch cord meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, making it compatible with any network equipment requiring Cat 6A performance. It supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, drawing power from compatible switches without requiring separate power supplies. It is wired to support both T568A and T568B termination schemes for broad network integration.

Installation Notes

The cable jacket is rated CM (Communications Multipurpose), suitable for use in riser pathways. The solid conductor construction requires careful handling to avoid kinking, but the tangle-free latch design simplifies disconnection. Pre-installed barcodes facilitate port mapping with RapidID software, reducing installation time and errors in complex deployments.
