Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX3M is a 3-meter (9.8 ft) Category 6A unshielded twisted pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gb/s. Constructed with 24 AWG solid conductors and high-performance modular plugs, this cable is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards. Its solid foil tape construction limits alien crosstalk, crucial for maintaining signal integrity in demanding data center environments such as I/O consolidation, server virtualization, and high-speed computing applications. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures a secure connection and simplifies moves, adds, and changes. This cord also features pre-installed RapidID barcodes for efficient port mapping.

Compatibility

This Category 6A patch cord is designed for 10GBASE-T Ethernet applications and is compatible with all network devices terminating with standard RJ45 modular plugs. It supports IEEE 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+), and 802.3bt (PoE++ Type 3 and Type 4) power over Ethernet applications, ensuring compatibility with powered network equipment without requiring separate power supplies. It is wired to support both T568A and T568B termination schemes, offering broad compatibility with existing network infrastructure.

Installation Notes

The cable jacket has a CM flammability rating, suitable for use in general-purpose riser or plenum spaces where permitted by code.
