Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX30GR is a 30-foot, Category 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission. Its solid 24 AWG copper construction and high-performance modular plugs ensure reliable 10 Gb/s Ethernet connectivity, making it suitable for demanding data center applications like I/O consolidation, server virtualization, and backbone aggregation. The green color aids in visual network identification.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to meet or exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards for frequencies up to 500 MHz. It supports IEEE 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+), and 802.3bt (PoE++), including Type 3 and Type 4 standards, ensuring compatibility with powered devices and network infrastructure requiring up to 100W. It is wired for compatibility with both T568A and T568B schemes.

Installation Notes

The cable diameter is 0.250 inches (6.4mm). It features a tangle-free latch design on the modular plugs to prevent snags during installation and facilitate quick release for moves, adds, and changes. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes simplify port mapping when used with compatible RapidID software.
