Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX2M is a 2-meter Category 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed data center applications. Its solid 24 AWG construction and CM flammability rating make it suitable for in-wall and riser deployments, ensuring reliable 10 Gb/s transmission while supporting advanced Power over Ethernet standards. The tangle-free latch simplifies moves, adds, and changes, reducing installation time and potential cable damage.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards up to 500 MHz, ensuring compatibility with all 10GBASE-T Ethernet networks. It supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (type 3 and type 4) PoE applications, making it ideal for powering devices like IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones over the same network infrastructure. It is wired to be compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes.

Installation Notes

The cable features solid conductors, which offer superior performance for fixed installations but are less flexible than stranded conductors. It has a CM (Communications Multipurpose) flammability rating, suitable for use in riser pathways between floors.
