Description

Panduit UTP6AX23 Category 6A 10 Gb/s UTP PC W/ EA

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX23 is a 23-foot Category 6A Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-speed network infrastructure. It ensures 10 Gb/s transmission performance by limiting alien crosstalk with its solid foil tape construction and high-performance modular plugs. This cord is ideal for connecting network devices in data centers, telecommunication rooms, or office environments where reliable, high-bandwidth connectivity is critical, especially for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications.

Compatibility

This Category 6A patch cord is engineered to exceed all ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards. It is rated for 2500 cycles with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) standards, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of PoE-enabled devices, including high-power network cameras, access points, and other IP endpoints. The high-performance modular plugs are designed for standard RJ45 interfaces found on network switches, routers, and end-user equipment.

Installation Notes

Constructed with 24 AWG solid conductors and a CM flammability rating, this patch cord is suitable for in-wall or general-purpose installations. The tangle-free latch on the modular plugs prevents snags during installation or relocation, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. The cable diameter is 0.250 inches (6.4mm). It supports up to 2500 mating cycles, providing durability for frequent connections and disconnections.
