Description

Panduit UTP6AX12GY Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX12GY is a 12-foot Category 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed data networks. Constructed with 24 AWG solid conductors and high-performance modular plugs, this cord is engineered to limit alien crosstalk, ensuring reliable 10 Gb/s transmission. Its tangle-free latch design streamlines installation and maintenance by preventing snags and allowing for quick release, making it suitable for data center and enterprise network deployments where frequent moves, adds, and changes occur. The integrated barcode for RapidID software simplifies port mapping and asset management.

Compatibility

This Category 6A patch cord is built to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, ensuring interoperability with a wide range of networking equipment. It is rated for 2500 cycles with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE++) standards, making it compatible with PoE-enabled devices and infrastructure. The CM flammability rating indicates suitability for use in riser applications within commercial buildings.

Installation Notes

The cable diameter is 0.250 inches (6.4mm). The connector plugs are designed for 2500 mating cycles. The integrated tangle-free latch facilitates easy disconnection and prevents cable damage during moves, adds, or changes. The pre-installed barcode is compatible with Panduit's RapidID software for automated port identification.
