Description

Panduit UTP28X35OR Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit UTP28X35OR is a 35-foot Cat 6A Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-speed Ethernet applications. Its 28 AWG solid conductor construction and compact 0.185-inch diameter simplify cable management in dense environments, particularly within data centers. The cord features high-performance modular plugs and supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet, making it suitable for demanding network infrastructure.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to meet ANSI/TIA-1096-A and IEC 60603-7 standards. It supports IEEE 802.3af/802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications with up to 48 cables in a bundle, and IEEE 802.3bt types 3 and 4 PoE applications with up to 24 cables in a bundle. Its primary applications include 10GBASE-T Ethernet, data center I/O consolidation, server virtualization, backbone aggregation, and high-speed computing environments.

Installation Notes

The cable is constructed with CM/LSZH (Communications Multipurpose/Low Smoke Zero Halogen) rated jacket material for flammability and smoke compliance. It features a patented tangle-free latch design that prevents snags and ensures a secure connection, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. The cord also includes pre-installed barcodes for port mapping via RapidID software, simplifying network documentation and troubleshooting.
