Overview

The Black Box CBCC365121-130 is a 130-foot (approx. 40 meter) Category 6 shielded twisted pair (S/FTP) Ethernet patch cable. It features snagless boots to protect the RJ45 connectors during installation and removal. This cable is designed for reliable data transmission in environments where signal integrity is critical, such as connecting IP cameras to network switches or extending network runs within a rack or between network closets. The S/FTP construction provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, ensuring cleaner data signals compared to unshielded cables.

Compatibility

This CAT6 S/FTP cable is compatible with all standard networking equipment requiring an Ethernet connection, including but not limited to: IP cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), managed and unmanaged network switches, routers, and workstations. It supports data rates up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) over shorter distances (up to 55 meters) and 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1GbE) up to its full 130-foot length, provided the connected devices and network infrastructure support these speeds. The snagless boots ensure compatibility with standard network ports without obstruction.

Installation Notes

The snagless boot design prevents the RJ45 connector tab from being accidentally depressed when pulling the cable through tight spaces, reducing the risk of disconnection.
