International Connectors and Cable ICCABT6EWH Cat 6e 600ft White CMP Cable
Overview
The International Connectors and Cable ICCABT6EWH is a 600-foot spool of Category 6e (Cat 6e) solid UTP cable. Designed for high-speed data transmission up to 600 MHz, this 24 AWG, 4-pair cable is CMP-rated for use in plenum spaces, meeting stringent fire safety codes for indoor installations where air circulation occurs. It provides a reliable backbone for network infrastructure supporting surveillance systems, data networks, and other IP-based devices.
Compatibility
This Cat 6e cable is compatible with all standard networking equipment that supports Category 6 or higher standards, including Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) up to 55 meters. It is suitable for use with network switches, routers, patch panels, and IP cameras that utilize RJ45 connectors. Its CMP rating ensures compliance for installations within air-handling spaces in commercial buildings.
Installation Notes
Ensure proper termination using compatible RJ45 connectors and a punch-down tool to maintain signal integrity. The cable's 24 AWG solid construction requires careful handling during pulling to avoid damage. For runs exceeding 55 meters for 10GbE, consider using Category 6A or higher. Always adhere to local building and fire codes for plenum cable installations.
