Compatibility

This Cat 6A cable is backward compatible with Cat 6 and Cat 5e systems but is engineered to meet the stringent requirements for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) up to 100 meters. The CMR rating indicates it can be run in vertical shafts (risers) but not in plenums without additional fire-rated jacketing.
