Overview

The Panduit UTP28X4GR is a 4-foot Category 6A unshielded twisted pair (UTP) patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding network environments. Its 28AWG construction and CM/LSZH (Plenum/Low Smoke Zero Halogen) rating make it suitable for in-wall or plenum space installations where fire safety and performance are critical. This cable ensures reliable connectivity for surveillance cameras, network switches, and other IP-enabled devices, minimizing signal loss and interference.

Compatibility

This cable is engineered to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) up to 100 meters, making it compatible with all network devices utilizing RJ45 connectors, including but not limited to: Axis Communications M-series and P-series IP cameras, Hanwha Vision X series cameras, Hikvision EasyIP series cameras, and network switches from Cisco, Ubiquiti, and Aruba. It is also suitable for connecting NVRs and DVRs to the network infrastructure.

Installation Notes

The 28AWG construction provides a smaller bend radius compared to 24AWG cables, allowing for easier routing in crowded cable management systems. The CM/LSZH jacket meets stringent fire safety codes for commercial installations. Ensure connectors are properly terminated to maintain the cable's performance specifications.
