Camden CM-TXLF-B Key FOB Base Mount
Overview
The CM-TXLF-B is a mounting base that converts any Camden Lazerpoint™ key FOB transmitter (TXLF-1, TXLF-2, TXLF-4, TXLF-1LP, TXLF-2LP) into a full-size credential unit. This base solves the problem of single-form-factor deployment—it allows one FOB series to work as a wall-mounted receiver, belt-clip transmitter, visor mount, or wheelchair attachment, depending on your facility's mobility and access patterns. Use this accessory when you need credential flexibility across mixed user groups (office staff, facility personnel with mobility needs, loading dock operations) without purchasing separate FOB variants.
Compatibility
The CM-TXLF-B works with all Camden Lazerpoint™ TXLF-series key fobs: CM-TXLF-1 (single channel), CM-TXLF-2 (dual channel), CM-TXLF-4 (four channels), and the low-power variants (TXLF-1LP, TXLF-2LP). The base integrates with Camden's receiver ecosystem (CM-RX-91 basic, CM-RX-92 dual relay) and operates in the 902–928 MHz ISM band with a range exceeding 250 feet in open area. Verify your existing Camden control system supports the frequency and relay logic before deployment.
Installation Notes
The FOB slides into the CM-TXLF-B base; no tools are required for assembly. The base supports four mounting methods: direct wall fastening (screw holes for standard wall anchors), belt clip (integrated D-ring or clip), visor mount (hook-and-loop or magnetic pad, sold separately), and wheelchair attachment (via bracket or strap). The CR-2032 battery remains pre-installed in the FOB and powers the transmitter—verify LED status (green for transmission, red for low battery) before commissioning. Temperature rating of the base and FOB combined: −40°F to +185°F (−40°C to +85°C); outdoor installations require weatherproof enclosure if exposed to rain or UV. Confirm wall and structural compatibility for mounting loads in your facility.
