Description

Camden CM-9600/C Remote Control Cable

Overview

The CM-9600/C is a dedicated remote activation cable for the Camden CM-9600 and CM-9610 series illuminated piezo push switches. It extends control capability to remote locations, enabling activation of door strikes, electromagnetic locks, electric strikes, and automatic door operators without line-of-sight to the push switch itself. Operates at 24VDC and supports fail-safe or fail-secure operation modes via field-selectable N/O and N/C contacts.

Compatibility

Works exclusively with the Camden CM-9600 and CM-9610 series illuminated piezo push switches. These switches are designed for flush-mount installation and control applications including handicap door operators, electric locks, electromagnetic locks, and electric strikes. The cable integrates with 24VDC door control systems that require remote switch activation and relay switching (rated 2 amps @ 30VDC). If you are deploying multiple push switches across a complex or campus, verify each switch location is wired to the same 24VDC power supply.

Installation Notes

This cable connects the CM-9600/C switch to remote activation inputs. Verify your access control or door operator system accepts N/O or N/C relay inputs at 24VDC before ordering. The switches themselves feature a 40-second adjustable timer and are housed in stainless steel faceplates rated for weatherproof and vandal-resistant environments. If you require multiple independent door activations, each will need a dedicated cable and switch pair.
