Overview

The Panduit BT2S-M300 is an 8-inch (203mm) black cable tie constructed from heat-stabilized, weather-resistant Nylon 6.6. It features a metal barb for a secure locking mechanism, making it suitable for bundling and securing cables in environments where durability and resistance to UV and heat are critical, such as outdoor surveillance installations or industrial IT closets. The V-2 flammability rating provides a baseline safety measure in plenum spaces.

Compatibility

This cable tie is designed for general-purpose cable management and is compatible with virtually all cable bundles within its specified diameter range. It is commonly used to secure cabling for network switches, IP cameras, access control panels, and other low-voltage infrastructure components from various manufacturers, including but not limited to Axis, Hanwha, Hikvision, and Ubiquiti.

The BT2S-M300 supports a maximum bundle diameter of 51mm (2 inches) and a minimum of 1.5mm. It offers a minimum loop tensile strength of 50 lbs (222 N), ensuring reliable bundling. The maximum continuous use temperature is 100°C (212°F), and the heat-stabilized nylon material provides resistance to UV exposure for outdoor applications. Installation requires standard cable tie tensioning tools to achieve optimal securing force without exceeding the tensile strength.
