Description

Panduit PLT1M-M20 Miniature Cable Tie

Overview

The Panduit PLT1M-M20 is a 3.9-inch (99mm) long, miniature cable tie designed for securing and organizing low-voltage wiring, data cables, and other small bundles. Its compact size and tensile strength make it ideal for applications where space is limited and precise cable management is required, such as within network racks, control panels, or behind workstations. This tie provides a reliable fastening solution for professional installations, ensuring neatness and preventing cable strain.

Compatibility

This cable tie is a universal fastening component. It is compatible with virtually all low-voltage and data cabling systems, including but not limited to: network patch cables (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7), coaxial cables, alarm system wiring, and general electrical hookups where cable diameters range from a few millimeters up to approximately 1.5 inches when bundled. It is suitable for use with various mounting accessories like cable clips and management panels.

Installation Notes

The PLT1M-M20 requires no special tools for installation; it can be tightened by hand and secured by its integral locking mechanism. For a clean finish and to prevent snagging, excess strap material can be trimmed flush using standard cable cutting tools. The material is nylon 6.6, which offers good resistance to abrasion and moderate chemical exposure. Operating temperature range is -40°F to 185°F (-40°C to 85°C).
