The Middle Atlantic C8005P-AAP-6A is a blank faceplate engineered for use with Middle Atlantic's C8005P enclosure series. It ships pre-punched with six Extron AAP (Architectural Adapter Plate) cutouts, allowing integrators to populate the panel with Extron AAP-format signal inserts — HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, USB, audio, or any standard Extron AAP module — without field cutting or custom fabrication. The C8005P-AAP-6A is the right choice when you need a structured, modular AV signal interface panel inside a rack or furniture enclosure and are already deploying Extron AAP-format connectors as your signal-distribution standard.
Compatibility
Designed to mount directly into the Middle Atlantic C8005P enclosure series. The six cutouts accept all standard Extron AAP-format modules — including Extron's HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, 3.5mm audio, USB Type-A, and USB Type-C AAP inserts. This plate is not compatible with Extron XTP or non-AAP insert formats. Installation Notes
Secure the plate to the C8005P enclosure using the mounting hardware supplied with the enclosure. Populate Extron AAP modules into the cutouts before final enclosure installation where possible — working access is significantly easier prior to rack seating. Route signal cables with adequate service loops inside the enclosure; the six-port density can create congestion if cables are not dressed before the plate is seated. No field cutting is required.
