The EPPCWC8000SITA is Epson's 1-Year Preferred Plus Spare in the Air (SITA) extended service plan for the ColorWorks CW-C8000 series color label printer. In production environments where a downed printer halts labeling workflows — packaging lines, compliance labeling, or on-demand color label operations — downtime cost can far exceed the cost of the plan itself. The SITA program addresses this by providing a replacement unit before you return the failed one, eliminating the wait typically associated with depot repair cycles. Rather than shipping your printer in and waiting, Epson dispatches a replacement unit so operations continue while the service event is handled in the background.

Compatibility

This service plan is specific to the Epson ColorWorks CW-C8000 series color label printers. It is not transferable to other ColorWorks models (CW-C6000, CW-C7500, CW-C831, etc.) or other Epson product lines. Confirm your printer's model designation is within the CW-C8000 series before purchasing — applying this plan to an out-of-scope unit will not activate coverage. If you are evaluating service plans for a different ColorWorks model, a separate SITA SKU is required for that series.
