Cable bushings are a frequent cause of warranty disputes — the bushing is overlooked during a re-cable, the cable is replaced with a slightly different OD, or the bushing is reused once too often and loses its seal. The result is moisture in the camera, fogging on the inside of the dome, IR LED corrosion, and eventually image failure. Carrying spare OEM bushings on every service call is best practice.

Always install the bushing dry — do not use grease or silicon sealant, which can break down the bushing material over time. Tighten the gland nut to the value specified in the Hanwha install guide; over-tightening can pinch the cable and create a long-term cold-flow failure.
