Overview
The Axis 02069-001 is a factory-new replacement glass assembly for the Axis I8016-LVE Network Video Intercom. This part addresses physical damage or vandalism to the glass window — a critical failure point in any wall-mounted video intercom where the lens must remain optically clear for 5 MP video capture and 140° horizontal field of view. Install this when the original glass is cracked, scratched, or compromised; it restores both optical clarity and the IK10 anti-ligature, vandal-resistant rating that protects the intercom's structural integrity.
Compatibility
This replacement glass kit is designed exclusively for the Axis I8016-LVE Network Video Intercom. The I8016-LVE is a compact, PoE-powered video intercom featuring a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor with 5 MP resolution, 1.95mm fixed lens, and IP66/IP69 environmental rating. It is not compatible with other Axis intercom models or camera families.
Installation Notes
The replacement glass assembly mounts directly into the front bezel of the I8016-LVE unit. The kit includes the glass component only — no tools, fasteners, or additional hardware are shipped. Removal and reinstallation of the glass requires careful handling to avoid damage to the internal lens assembly and sensor. The intercom should be powered down or disconnected from PoE before service. Verify the replacement glass seats flush with the housing to maintain the IP66/IP69 environmental seal; any gap or misalignment will compromise water and dust protection.
