The Axis TD4802-E (03007-001) is a weatherproof enclosure designed to protect Axis D4200-VE network strobe speakers in outdoor and harsh-environment deployments. It shields the strobe and speaker assembly from moisture, UV exposure, and environmental degradation while maintaining optical clarity for visual signaling. IP66 rating means water spray and dust ingress will not compromise the strobe's illumination or audio output — critical for perimeter alarm systems, emergency notification, and industrial facilities requiring 24/7 visual-audio warnings in wet or dusty conditions.

The weathershield is purpose-built for the Axis D4200-VE Network Strobe Speaker — the multi-purpose audio-visual device that combines strobe lights (red, green, blue, amber, white, pink, purple, turquoise, yellow), a built-in 3-inch coaxial speaker (102 dB max SPL), two-way audio, and PoE Class 4 power delivery. It integrates with AXIS Audio Manager (Edge or Pro) for zone management (up to 20 zones across 200 speakers), content scheduling, and priority alert routing.

Installation Notes

The weathershield mounts to wall, ceiling, or rack surfaces and maintains IP66 integrity when properly sealed. Ensure cable entries are sealed with appropriate glands or connectors to preserve the IP66 rating in high-moisture or spray environments. PoE++ (802.3bt) power passes through the enclosure to the D4200-VE; confirm your PoE switch supplies sufficient Class 4 capacity (up to 90W per device in power-forwarding mode).
