The Axis 01457-001 is a dual-camera mounting bracket engineered for deployments where panoramic or wide-area coverage requires two fixed or dome cameras in a back-to-back configuration. Rather than installing separate mounts at different locations, this accessory lets you mount two Axis IP cameras on a single structural point — reducing penetrations, simplifying wiring, and cutting installation labor on walls, poles, or ceilings.
The T94V01C (01457-001) is a passive mounting bracket — it carries no power, electronics, or intelligence. Compatibility is purely mechanical: if a camera has a standard Axis mounting foot, it attaches here. Power, PoE, and network connectivity flow directly from each camera's cable to your network video recorder or switch. No configuration required on the mount itself.
Because the bracket threads into standard 1.5" NPS adapters, it integrates with existing pole mounts, ceiling hangers, or wall arms — useful if you're retrofitting a site with existing infrastructure.
The back-to-back orientation is purpose-built for linear coverage (hallways, warehouse aisles, fence lines) or opposite-facing perimeter shots. If you need overlapping coverage or three-dimensional field-of-view, this is not the right choice — consider individual mounts instead. Weight distribution is symmetric, so structural load on your pole or wall is roughly twice the camera weight; verify your mounting surface can handle it.
Each camera requires its own network cable, PoE source, and storage allocation — the mount is not a consolidation tool for cabling or power. Plan your cabling and storage accordingly.
