Overview

The APC Smart-UPS VT SUVTOPT004 is a baying kit designed to physically connect two 14-inch (351mm) wide APC Smart-UPS VT enclosures in parallel. This allows for system expansion, enabling you to increase the overall power capacity or runtime of your UPS system by combining two units. It's specifically intended for deployments where modular UPS expansion is required, such as data centers or critical infrastructure rooms, to maintain uptime during power events.

Compatibility

This baying kit is designed exclusively for APC Smart-UPS VT UPS enclosures with a 14-inch (351mm) width. It is not compatible with other UPS form factors or widths from APC by Schneider Electric or other manufacturers. Ensure your existing UPS units are the specified 14-inch models before ordering.

Installation Notes

The kit facilitates the physical joining of two UPS units. Installation requires careful alignment of the enclosures. The operating temperature range for the combined system is 0 to 40 °C, and relative humidity should be maintained between 0% and 95%, non-condensing. The unit's dimensions are 1351mm wide, 232mm deep, and 25mm high. The package dimensions are 1375 x 270 x 66 mm, with a package weight of 13.6 kg.
