Compatibility
This KVM server module is designed for use with APC KVM 2G Analog Switches and KVM 2G Digital Switches. It specifically supports servers equipped with PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports. It is not compatible with USB-only KVM switches or servers that lack PS/2 connectivity.
Installation Notes
Connect the module's PS/2 keyboard and mouse cables directly to the corresponding ports on the target server. Then, connect the module's KVM switch port cable to an available KVM port on your APC KVM 2G switch. Ensure the module is securely seated and all connections are firm to prevent intermittent issues. The virtual media functionality requires specific firmware support on both the KVM switch and the target server.
