Description

APC by Schneider Electric PDM2330L6-12-380 Concise Descriptor

Overview

The APC by Schneider Electric PDM2330L6-12-380 is a 2-pole, 3-wire power distribution module designed for IT rack environments. It provides reliable power distribution from a single L6-30 locking receptacle to multiple outlets, ensuring critical equipment receives consistent power. This module is specifically suited for deployments requiring secure, locking connections to prevent accidental disconnections, common in server rooms and network closets.

Compatibility

This power distribution module is designed to connect to a single NEMA L6-30R locking receptacle, typically found on higher-amperage rack PDUs or direct building power circuits. It provides three 380CM (approximately 12 AWG) wire leads for direct connection to downstream equipment or junction boxes. It is compatible with any power source providing a 30A, 250V L6-30 connection. It is not designed for direct connection to standard NEMA 5-15R or L5-30R outlets.

Installation Notes

Installation requires a qualified electrician. The module connects to a single L6-30R locking inlet. The three 380CM wire leads are intended for hardwiring to downstream loads. Ensure the power source is de-energized before installation. Torque specifications for wire connections should adhere to local electrical codes and standards. The operating temperature range is critical for ensuring longevity and safe operation.
