Overview
The APC by Schneider Electric AP9888 is a 0.5-meter power cord splitter designed to convert a single IEC C20 input connection into two IEC C13 output connections. This device is critical for consolidating power delivery in rack-mounted environments, allowing you to power two devices from a single PDU outlet or UPS port. It supports up to 15A input current, making it suitable for a wide range of IT equipment and surveillance devices that utilize C13 power cords.
Compatibility
This splitter is designed to interface with standard IEC C20 power sources, typically found on higher-amperage PDUs and some UPS units. The two IEC C13 outputs are compatible with the power inlets of most standard servers, switches, network video recorders (NVRs), and other rack-mount IT equipment that draw up to 10A per device. Installation Notes
The AP9888 operates within an ambient temperature range of -10°C to 40°C. Ensure the total load on the two C13 outlets does not exceed the current rating of the source C20 inlet or the splitter's capability.
