Overview

The AP9568 is a 0U vertical rack-mount PDU from the APC by Schneider Electric power distribution line designed to reclaim horizontal rack space by mounting in the vertical tooling channel of standard 2-post or 4-post open-frame racks. It accepts a single IEC 60320 C14 input — drawing from 208V or 50/60 Hz 230V circuits — and distributes to 15 IEC 60320 C13 outlets. That outlet count and 0U form factor make the AP9568 a practical fit for high-density server and network cabinet deployments where every rack unit is already occupied by active equipment. The 6.5-foot cord provides enough reach to connect to in-rack or nearby floor-mounted power sources without extension hardware.

Compatibility

The AP9568 is compatible with any device that draws from an IEC 60320 C13 receptacle at 208V or 230V — including 1U and 2U rack servers, managed and unmanaged network switches, NVRs, and storage appliances. The IEC C14 inlet is compatible with standard C13-to-C14 power whips and PDU-to-UPS cabling common across APC SmartUPS and SUA/SMT/SMX series UPS output banks. The vertical 0U mounting profile fits square-hole and round-hole tooling channels on most standard 19-inch EIA-310 open-frame and enclosed racks.
